NO to Bill 36 the Health Professions and Occupations Act (prepared by Gail Davidson LL.B)

From the Slides:
The Health Professions and Occupations Act (Act) was improperly pushed through on 24 November 2022 without the consultation, disclosure, debate and informed voting required in a democracy. It is perhaps the largest bill ever presented to the BC Legislative Assembly at 645 sections over 276 pages, involves repeal of one and amendments to 33 statutes, and concerns the governance, licensing, discipline and control of approximately 130,000 health care workers in 25 health professions and occupations in BC.
