Insisting upon the rights to information and to the open and free expression of thought and opinion
The recordings featured here fall into two categories. First, thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations with men and women who have graciously offered to share their perspectives and expertise on pressing matters that require public scrutiny, understanding, and engagement. Second, works of protest read aloud as personal, affective expressions of dissent at a time when informed debate, learned colloquy, and even heated table talk have become increasingly rare.
